Child Abuse and Sexual Assault Awareness Month Kickoff at Wilson Park

Join us at Wilson Park on Friday, April 1st at 12PM as we observe Child Abuse and Sexual Assault Awareness Month. The theme for this event is: "Together We Act, United We Change." We are honored to partner with One Place of The Shoals to speak about the critical importance of working together to support victims of abuse in our community. Mayor Betterton will also be present to read and present proclamations declaring April as Child Abuse Prevention Month and Sexual Assault Awareness Month. This event marks the kickoff for a month-long campaign to raise awareness about child abuse. We’re challenging our community to commit to being safe adults for our children and creating a safer, more supportive environment for all.
